Ninefold runs for nine days in nine borrowed venues: a car park, a library, two shophouses and five studios. The mark is a circle cut into nine slices, and each day fills one more slice.

Every poster is built from the same parts: the circle, a grid of dots and one bar. Screen-printed in three inks, they got cheaper to make as the series grew, and people collected the set.

The Ninefold Festival primary lockup: the mark beside the nameNinefold FestivalPrimary lockup. Clear space on every side equals the height of the mark's smallest part.

Process note

The poster system was a set of 12 rules written on one page, so the print studio could make day eight posters on their own while we were installing day seven.
